Duties

The Teacher of the Visually Impaired works with students with visual disabilities who attend school in a regular education setting, providing direct instruction, consultation and technical assistance to staff, and other instruction and support services as needed.

Qualifications

  • Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement for teaching

        students with visual impairments

  • Proficiency with school-based technology and office equipment, including computers and specialized software applications like Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Salary/Benefits

Full time = 182 Days, 7  Hours/Day Day Salary Range: $51,585 - $104,303 depending on experience
