Duties
Primary Function: Grant funded position to support the implementation of the CTE Education Career Pathway Grant for SRAVTE and to oversee the success of all key outcomes for students in the Education Pathway Grant.
Work Schedule
Part Time (Up to 650 hours per year) Hours may vary depending on the needs of employers, training, or activities. Some evenings and or weekend work will be required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Experience and professional employment in an industry recognized by a program of study, such as education, and 60 or more credit hours towards an Associate’s degree and or the attainment of a post-secondary degree.
Preferred Qualifications: • The ability to use technology to track, maintain, and analyze data related to credential and endorsement.
• Familiarity with the teaching profession at all levels
• Familiarity with the Illinois Valley Area, its schools, and their needs.
• Excellent organizational and verbal skills.
• Familiarity with grant formalities and grant reporting
• A passion for teaching and fostering new teachers
Salary/Benefits
Salary - To be determined in conjunction with experience and qualifications of selected candidate.
Additional Notes
This position is a grant funded position, and employment of the selected coordinator is subject to funding via the supporting grant. This position will be reviewed upon completion of the 2024-2025 school year will be subject to change pending recommendation and approval of the SRAVTE Director and Board of Control. This position and its description outlined below are meant to cover only the 2024-2025 school year.
