Duties
We offer small class sizes with our high school being only 70 students in grades 9-12. Class sizes range between 1 to 15 students. We have the smallest school district in the county but one of the largest budgets and are a financially stable district. We have great students and staff at Donovan. Courses could include Ag Science, Ag Industry, Ag Mechanics, Advanced Ag Mechanics,
Horticulture, Vet Science, Resource Management, and possibly Welding
Qualifications
Appropriate State of Illinois Teaching Certificate
Salary/Benefits
$9,700 towards insurance (covers 100% of 3 of our 4 health insurance plans)
Offer HSA (health savings accounts) as a health insurance benefit
$2,000 signing bonus for new teachers
$300 per semester hour paid to go back and get your master's degree
100% TRS paid by the district
If you are a 1st year teacher out of college, salary/benefits is $55,451.74 plus 400 extended hour salary, which is an additional $14,000. If you bring years of experience and/or a master's degree with you, then you will be placed at a higher pay rate.
