Duties

  1. Planning and Preparation
  2. Knowledge of medical and skill in nursing techniques
  3. Knowledge of students’ unique needs (health records for every student)
  4. Knowledge of students interests and cultural heritage (immunization and physical exams are recorded and in compliance with the mandates of the state).
  5. Knowledge of government, community, and district regulations and resources
  6. Planning the nursing program for both individuals and groups of students integrated with the regular school program.

Qualifications

LPN or BSN Degree

Certification by IDHP in hearing, vision, CPR and AED certification
