Duties
Duties include but are not limited to working with students in an environment that will be conducive
to learning, supervise students within the classroom and other assigned areas, develop lesson plans
and give group and individual instruction within district adopted curriculum guidelines.
Qualifications
Must have Professional Educator License from the Illinois State Board of Education with appropriate
endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
Salary Schedule $41,188 - $73,700.
Board Paid Health Insurance $480 per month.
12 Sick Days and 2 Personal Days.
Tuition Reimbursement - $250 per semester hour.

Neoga is a small agricultural community located on I-57 between Effingham and Mattoon. Our
location on the Interstate gives easy access to Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis. Neoga is home to
Lake Mattoon located about 2 miles from town. Neoga also has two medical clinics (Sarah Bush and
Springfield Clinic), and Strong Beginnings Early Learning Center.
The Neoga School District has about 500 students, two Principals, and a Dean of Students/Athletic
Director. We total about 50 certified staff and 30 support staff.
Neoga CUSD #3 welcomes new staff with mentoring, supportive administration, and opportunities to
continue educational advancement. Coaching and extra-curricular positions may be available for qualified candidates.
