Provide instruction to students with special needs and identified learning/behavioral disabilities in a Special Education program
Complete and meet all IEP paperwork deadlines
Ability to work productively and positively as a team member
Administer and score individual and group assessments
Schedule IEP meetings, coordinating schedules with parents, general education teacher(s), administrator, and all appropriate special education staff
Conduct IEP meetings
Facilitate problem solving team meetings.
Communicate and coordinate special needs evaluation and testing with speech teacher, psychologist, and other service providers.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding individual student progress and conduct
Maintain progress records, student data, record progress toward IEP goals
Support other academic programs offered within the District
Performs all other duties related to position as may be assigned by Building Administrator or Superintendent.

Elementary Special Education Teacher -IL Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement
