Duties
Successful candidate will be responsible for self-contained elementary instruction in varying subjects based on the skills of the candidates. The job expects candidates to be a positive team member and engage stakeholders in two-way communication. Current opening is for a 1st Grade classroom teacher, but it could be for another elementary teaching position as well. This position is a new teaching position that had to be created to meet the demands that come with increased enrollment.
Qualifications
It is preferred that candidates hold, or be eligible for, an Illinois Professional Educator License and meet requirements set-forth by the MAPS Board of Education for employment. At the minimum, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher to be considered for this position.
Salary/Benefits
Regionally competitive private Christian school. Salary schedule is set forth by the MAPS Board Of Education. Additional compensation will include the candidate's child(ren) attending MAPS tuition-free.
