Duties

Ohio Community Schools #17 & #505 is currently looking to employ school bus drivers.  This is a great opportunity to work with students, staff, and families.  This is a perfect job for a semi-retired person, stay-at-home parent, or someone needing a little extra cash.

Ohio Community Schools Vacancy for Drivers 

• Co-Curricular Drivers - Class D License (Evenings and Saturdays) 
• First Division Drivers with School Bus Permit 
• CDL is not required for First Division License 
• School Bus Drivers with CDL 

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s License (For Co-Curricular driving position)
• Current Driver’s License and School Bus Permit (or willing to get School Bus Certification)
• State required training
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
• Ability to pass a physical exam and drug test
• Patience and the ability to work with children of various ages
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Additional Notes

Terms of Employment: 

• Hourly 
• State required training, recertification, exams and tests 
• Work year to be establish by the Board of Education
