Kenilworth School District 38 is seeking a motivated individual who enjoys working with students disabilities to serve as a paraprofessional (instructional assistant) at The Joseph Sears School.
The Joseph Sears School is a neighborhood JK-8 schoolhouse located in Kenilworth, IL, that enrolls approximately 450 students. The instructional assistant provides academic and behavioral support to students with disabilities under the direction of the student's case manager. A successful Instructional Assistant is a team player who is passionate about supporting students, communicates effectively, works independently, and demonstrates flexibility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- No physical or lifting restrictions
Hours: 8:10 to 3:15
Rate of Pay: Position starts from $16.50 to $17.50 per hour with opportunities for extra duty pay.
